Time travel to the past or future

Honestly it's a great question, I always wonder if time travel will ever become real.

If it were possible today, I would certainly travel back in time and go back to any time I was immensely happy. It could be some time with family or friends, a memorable soccer game, or even a concert that I really enjoyed. I would definitely choose to travel back in time and relive that feeling of happiness. 

I would also like to travel back in time to witness some historical moment of humanity. I think it would be very interesting to see firsthand how certain things happened.

Anyway, even if I had the opportunity to travel to the past I would never change something I have already done in my life, even if it is something I regret today, because everything I have done has allowed me to grow as a person and learn from life. And as the saying goes, what's done is done. Therefore, I would only go back to the past for a while and then return (it sounds crazy to say return) to the present to continue with my life.

On the other hand, I would never travel to the future. That idea terrifies me. Because for better or worse, knowing what will happen takes the excitement out of life. And worse if it's to see or know something bad that I know will happen at some point, that would not allow me to live peacefully. I will definitely always discard the idea of traveling to the future.

For now, I'll just stay with living in the present hahaha.
