The Best Concert Ever

In recent years, I had the fortune to go to several concerts of my favorite singers. However, one that I keep with special affection in my mind was the one Young Cister did at the Movistar Arena in January of this year, where he became the first Chilean artist to fill that venue alone.

Young Cister is a very versatile Chilean singer (and producer!), although he is characterized mainly by moving between genres such as trap, reggaeton and lately pop, work that he has developed since the mid-2010s, which positions him as one of the pioneers and promoters of the now so recognized Chilean urban genre. 

As I mentioned at the beginning, I experienced Young Cister's show in a special way due to the affection I have for him and his career, since he is an artist I have been following for many years, and he has always been my favorite Chilean urban singer. In fact, five years ago -2018, when he was not as well known as he is today- I went to see him at a concert he did in a plaza in Quilicura, when he was just starting his career. So, years after that seeing him consecrated as an artist filling a venue as big as the Movistar Arena filled me with joy.

The atmosphere of that concert was great. The place was packed and the quality of the show was incredible. And undoubtedly one of the moments I enjoyed the most that day was when he sang his oldest songs, as it reminded me of the time I saw him in Quilicura, when his career was just beginning.
